We are incredibly proud to announce that Sensei Robbie Castellano has been awarded Instructor of the Year by the International Sports Karate Association (ISKA)—a prestigious recognition that celebrates excellence in martial arts instruction and leadership.
This award represents far more than a single achievement. It reflects over 35 years of dedication to training, teaching, and mentoring thousands of students. Throughout his journey, Sensei Robbie has remained committed to helping people of all ages build confidence, discipline, resilience, and respect through martial arts.
Under his leadership, IMC has grown to become the largest martial arts community in Western Sydney, with the region’s largest student base and one of the most experienced instructional teams. This success has been built on consistent, high-quality coaching and a genuine passion for changing lives through martial arts.
While the plaque bears one name, this recognition belongs to every student, family, instructor, and supporter who has been part of the IMC journey over the past three decades.
Congratulations, Sensei Robbie, on this well-deserved honour. Your commitment to excellence continues to inspire the next generation of martial artists, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible achievement.
